Mitch Mustain named staring QB at Arkansas.....
Here is Houston Nutt's press conference on the USC vs. Arkansas game. http://www.hogwired.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=6100&ATCLID=591553 Man...if F. Jones doesn't fumble three times I really do beleive the Hogs would have been in the game at the end. The Trojans scored three TD's and two file...

It is hard to tell after one game....but I suspect that yes Tennessee is improved over last year but not that much. I think it is more that Cal just isn't that good of a team. Cal will lose 5 or 6 games this year if you ask me. I will have to see Tenn play more to determine whether they are as good ...

Man that was a good hit that Ark laid on the USC players on the kick return. That shut up all the Trojan fans in the ESPN Zone here in Southern Cal. The Trojan scored 30 of there 50 off the turn overs and had a short field. You take away the fumbles (mental mistakes) and Ark is in that game in the f...

Arkansas Offense: C- to D Arkansas Defense: B- Arkansas defense did everything you can do when you are facing a team of USC's caliber and your offense coughs the ball up 3 times in the first quarter. It is amazing that after F. Jones fumbled 3 times that the Hogs were still in the game at half time....

McFadden practiced for the second straight day in full pads. I think he plays some on Saturday....although I do not think he will be completely 100%, but clearly the doctors have cleared him or he would not be out practicing. He had the metal pin removed about a week and a half ago...so the toe is h...

I just called the Hogs and sang the fight song.......I am so pumped. I can't wait until Saturday. This week is going by way to slow. I'm singing the fight song again. Hit that line, Hit that line, Keep on going, and take that ball right down the field, Give a cheer, rah, rah, Never fear, rah, rah, A...

Luckily Arkansas has a very strong D-line and Linebacker core. I think they have the size, strength, speed, and experience to be in Bootys face all game. I agree with you Spence.....however, you have to admit that the ARK DB's could have done a better job last year then they did. Wideout's, no matte...

Mr Yeafoot...you seem to know nothing about the Hogs or the SEC. You say that the Hogs having a good season would be nothing more then not finishing last in the conference. Do you know what SEC West team has won more games in the past 8 years.....the Razorbacks (not Auburn, not Alabama, not LSU).......

The game is going to come down to one thing: can the Hogs secondary hang with the wideouts of USC....last year the answer was no. The Hogs were young at that position last year, even starting freshman (USC game was some of their first road game year), Arkansas also had a new Defensive coordinator la...

You just had to out do Arkansas. During the 2000 season, a 30x107-foot SMARTVISION LED video screen, the largest video board at any sports venue in the world, made its debut in the north end zone at Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville. I find my self watching the screen more then the actual game. I te...

Yeafoot.....Arkansas considers Texas a rival not just because of the 60's and 70's but because they have played 76 times. Their first meeting go back nearly to the beginnings of both schools football programs. Many important games have been played between the two programs. Texas and Arkansas were th...

The Hogs could win this game....it happened before. In 1974, the USC Trojans came to Arkansas and lost to the Hogs 22-7. That was the only loss the Trojans had that year and they won the National Championship. I am pretty sure the Hogs had a losing season that year...but they could say they beat the...

interesting tidbit about USC coach Pete Carrol
Pete Carrol was a graduate assistant with the University of Arkansas football program in 1977 (under then Razorback coach Lou Holtz). The Hogs finished that season 11-1 and beat #2 Oklahoma 31-6 in the Orange Bowl. I believe Arkansas' current coach, Houston Nutt, was the backup QB on the Razorbacks ...
