Do we have an impact on climate. Yes, so does everything. Can we do much to change it? I don't believe we can. This planet has fixed itself in the past and will do so again; whether are not we are part of it is the question.

I am not even sure that is true anymore. They have abdicated so much of their power already.

Yes, them too. Too much time on their hands, too skewed a view of the world from their perch.

Until they come together as parts of a whole enitity instead of individual entities doing what works best for each other, it isn't going to get better. I think they have already stepped over a cliff, but I could be wrong.

They keep running away from what has made them successful. School spirit, pride in your school, pride in you state. They are leaving it all behind and that will bury them in the end.

The reason they formed the NCAA was to have plausible deniability. They are some of the best in the world at that.

Hard to tell kids they can't make a bunch of money when the schools pay millions to coaches

Going back to the old days of keeping lots of players on the roster. The power house teams would give scholarships to kids so they wouldn't go to rival schools.

Tony Petitti seems to be in bed with Fox, NBC, and CBS. Not sure that is much better. They are sure trying not to leave any crumbs laying around.
