Re: The Tim Brewster Experiment Has Failed Miserably
Meanwhile Connecticut is blasting the snot out of their 1-AA rival. A good omen for Michigan this afternoon? You know...I was thinking of having you call your Big East friends over at UConn, and tell them to quit being a bully. At least they let the poor boys from Texas Southern score a feild goal....

James Madison is also down 13-7 at the half against Virginia Tech
If that even stays close, it won't be good for Boise. They need VT to have a good season. On the other hand, this just could be a Monday game hangover for the Hokies...still a half to go...we'll see.

I really should save up my winnings to pay for the treatment of the stomach ulcers I will most certainly have by the time I'm 40.
Wouldn't give it up even so. Love football season.

Just when you think Minnesota might mount a comeback they go and let South Dakota score again...an embarrasement to the Big 10 and FBS college football at large. ![Embarassed ](./images/smilies/icon_redface.gif)

1st, yes I'm quoting myself.
2nd, Maybe I spoke too soon. Army is now rolling. I didn't take into account Hawaii's defense...or lack thereof.

Re: This Week For College Footbal Fans
No, not really. I have never been much in favor of FBS schools playing FCS schools, even though I know there is a monetary gain for the FCS school, but it just seems like an overblown scrimmage. The only thing good about FBS vs FCS is if the FCS school happens to win, ala Ole Miss, Kansas, and curre...

Re: The Tim Brewster Experiment Has Failed Miserably
Exactly. I actually think, speaking of the Dakota schools, that it could be a welcome addition to the MAC. I've always thought that North Dakota State specifically had a lot of promise. At any rate, I think the MAC has to expand by one Western school just to even out the conference. Well, either th...

After their performance vs. USC, I liked Hawaii this week, even though they aren't at home. Right now, looking okay. Line was -3 for Army and Hawaii leading by 14. Re: Villanova looking at joining Big East in football
It is another argument to kick out the mids from the top schools. A school with a 12,000 seat stadium...even if it gets increased...can not compete in all aspects of the game with the Ohio State's, Florida's and UCLA's of the world. Build up the mid's and the "elites" are free to do whate...
