We had Roberson at Ohio Northern for years. I saw where he got into some trouble, breaking the rules and got "retired". He had a job for life up there and I can't for the life of me think of why he would jeopardize it. The new coach that they hired beat Mount Union this year so they are making strid...

Michigan did have some bad calls at some crucial times. The most important one being when Carr had to use the timeouts to get the replay official to check it out.

think if that if Herbstreit talked about Miami vs OSU, he'd still say Miami was better. I think they were better than OSU in every category but one. OSU that year was amazing at winning. That's why it's hard to compare those things. Georgia Tech had better athletes last night, but weren't better at...

Howdy, anytime that Ohio State beating Michigan can help anyone, we would be glad to help.

Nebraska played inspired football. It has been a while since we have seen that. Nice win.

In college football, non-conference schedules are often made 5-7 years in advance. Someone may think they are scheduling a tough team and end up scheduling one that is below average by the time the game takes place. The game is still played because the schools want to honor the contract they entere...

. I also realize that it is a way for the corps. to get free advertisement in the form of name dropping each time the bowl is referred to in the press and on the air.

That is it exactly. I don't like it either, but then again I'm watching the games on their dime.

I think that's an excellent reason, personally, that's what sports are about, celebrations!
Excessive celebrations.
Those with beer.

That may be the first thing you and I have ever agreed on.

Yeofoot, isn't a former Buckeye and former Wolverine working at your old school as asst. coaches? I thought I read an article about that some time ago.

Woody probably knew the answer. He was a huge History buff and Ohio State was his favorite topic.

And my main argument for why Texas will win is this:
It's my turn to celebrate!

Yeofoot, I could think of a better reason for wanting a team to win the NC.

I would have Ryan Hamby catch the ball in the endzone during the Texas game. It would have put the game out of reach and we would have won. Maybe if we would have won that game it would have motivated Ohio State to beat Penn St. later on. If not I would like to change 2 plays please.
