The Cardinals in 7. Actually, pretty good baseball. And the Mets and Cardinals seventh game was one of the best games I have ever seen.

I don't buy that. If Boise State wanted to schedule a game with USC, Texas, or Oklahoma, they could get it done. If you choose to schedule Missouri, you may get a good team, you may not. If you schedule a top flight program, the chances that they will be good are in your favor. Teams like K-State m...

Pac 10

...so much for history. The Pac 10 is not strong this year. My prediction, based upon my having eaten too much cold pizza in the middle of the night, is that USC will end up with two loses. Oregon, UCLA and Cal. They will lose two to this group. USC does not seem to be that strong. Oregon and Cal ar...

Boise State does have a good team. I don't believe they should be cut off from championship contention because they play in a conference that doesn't do well against top competition. But they have to play a really good OOC schedule to make up for it if they want to be championship eligible. Maybe t...

Because the BCS doesn't want people to turn off the games after the 1st. quarter. This is the most salient comment on all of this and is the answer to almost every question asked about polling, bowls and scheduling. Having said that...Boise plays down to its competition, has had a "good program for...

Re: Why is it from the right wing?

That the right wing always wants to forget hurricane Katrina, but remember 9/11. Katrina was more devasting, but Bush will blow off Katrina but wants to bring up 9/11. Here is my opion he wants us scared of terrorist attacks so he could have more power. He was informed of 9/11 but neglected to do a...

If you're a student of PAC 10 football, you should know that historically, the Ducks have pwned Wazzu 8) If I were a student of the Pac 10....a new definition of self righteous.....Heck, I was not a good student at Peter Boscow Elementary... Oregon will do fine this weekend. With Oregon at Pullman ...

Right is right and wrong is wrong and it does not matter the arena. The idea that time and culture changes civility is on an excuse. You want to make a statement of the right and wrong of the Miami FIU debacle. Then let the schools come out and say that neither school can be represented in post seas...

There does seem to be a lot more parody in College Football, enough so that if we're not careful we may find ourselves with only an undefeated Boise St. Now wouldn't that be a mess. Not sure how to quote....what the heck...... A mess.....Not going to happen but it would be interesting. All I can sa...

Pac 10

Needs to be some West Coast representation here, as addle as we may be. So here are my picks. UCLA at No. 10 Notre Dame. Bruins may be down to No. 3 quarterback. Irish, 37-10. Washington at No. 11 California. Brutal place to break in a new quarterback. Cal, 42-10. No. 16 Oregon at Washington State. ...

Let them eat cake

Reminds me a lot of the King, when the people were starving, and he proclaimed.....they will get use to it.

What a Mess

At least they imposed penalities quickly. This is all the boosters of Miami needed to get a change in coaching, which many seemingly have wanted.

How smart is it for some of the players to take off their helmets when the fight started...think they must have taken some head shots much earlier.
