Re: Florida Struggling

One thing I've noticed from Louisville . . . the players are getting good yardage after the catch, and they are doing a great job of ball protection, holding it close to the body, putting a second hand on it when contact occurs.

Re: Florida Struggling

I wonder how many Sugar Bowl Winning teams have negative rushing yards after the game . . .

Think Louisville will have the exclusive rights to that claim . . .

Re: Florida Struggling

Well, any potential momentum florida got from that desperation touchdown play at the end of the half, seems to be gone now . . . Aside from having the PAT blocked . . . that kickoff coverage is on spot tonight. I took florida as my prediction . . . but will smile a whole lot bigger if this keeps up....

Re: Clemson vs. LSU

It was a wonderful game to end 2012 with. Interesting to note: during the first quarter, even with the game so close (when it was more than obvious the commentary had SEC/LSU blinders on), there was mention of Miles' history in regards to 11 win seasons, that stated how many he has, and with a win (...

Re: Clemson vs. LSU

The ACC did pretty well on the Eve of 2013 . . . outside of NC State, Georgia Tech & Clemson both came away with Big Game wins. And one thing is for certain; no one is going to say the Clemson win was for lack of competition by the opposing team. The Chik-fil-A Bowl was hard fought on both sides...

Re: Gary Andersen to Wisconsin

hmm... I thought it was because he was sincere when he took the job, and asked the question: "Your name for years been linked with several marque openings that are popped up since you were @ Temple; SC, UCLA, there's been a perception of course that, you know, when coach Paterno leaves Penn Sta...

Re: Gary Andersen to Wisconsin

No doubt . . . possibly the best hire so far, this coach poach season. Wisconsin needs to maintain a focus on the D side of things in order to continue competing with the Big 14 (16,18) top dogs. The question is; how well connected is he to the area's recruiting field? Although, supposing Alvarez is...

Re: Big East = Dead League Walking

TCU jumped ship just before their first season in the Big East, and they did not have to pay any penalties, as they had cited that the security of conference alignment was in question, and they no longer had faith in the move. Now they are playing in the Big 12, which is where they belong. And so, B...

Re: Arizona v Nevada

I take this stuff way too seriously, but I feel a little sick right now. heh . . . well at least this turned around for you . . . In my Predictions, I took Texas to win (and they may), though initially I took Oregon St. Actually; I do a predictions game for the bowls with another group (just the pr...

Re: Arizona v Nevada

I took Arizona to win this game, too: However, they should have lost. The refs blew an obvious safety on Nevada's first kick . . . The Arizona return man muffed the catch on the one yard line, picked the ball up, backed himself into the endzone, then took a knee. He Fielded the Ball outside of the e...

Re: Big East = Dead League Walking

Delany maybe shooting himself in the foot, with that for instance. ND clearly wants to remain a Football independent. If the ACC starts to unravel, and the Southern school join with the Big 12 . . . Notre Dame might try to sign the same sort of contract there. I don't see how the Big 12 could refuse...
