CLF...you have no creds...

Beating teams who win, on average, 79.2 % of their games does indeed constitute a gold standard of sorts.

Eric...depends on whether you rebuild or reload...FSU's defense has reloaded... Bunkley did get drafted in the 1st round....you know what...when 2004 ended, folks were saying "who is going to replace DT Travis Johnson?" Travis was drafted first round, pick 16....Bunkley did a fine job following Trav...

into it or not...Lemming has been too well documented...he's a tool who has used his position to pressure young athletes..to tout Notre dame while being a recruiting guru who has the power to pick kids for all star games and rank the kids...a complete tool. http://72.14.207.104/search?q=cache:udzSz_...

Thanks again KTFFAN for data...don't know how you get this stuff without complicated hand compiling.......but I like it...it makes me start thinking. My thoughts are ever more solidified on SOS....a team that played five end ranked teams last year (like FSU) has a considerably rougher row to hoe tha...

If you go over .500 playing teams that finish ranked in the AP...you have a decent record...its 50/50 whether you beat a team good enough to be final ranked. TCU is a decent, middle of the road team that really doesn't do well against the better BCS teams...all the chatter and weird slight of hand w...

The media influences the public... Example...how many here heard of FSU's "off season problems" last year? Sounded horrific. Was the image left in the public's mind accurate? It might surprise you to find out that the problems were two kids arrested on misdemeanor charges and a QB with lyme disease....

LOL...this guy will run you in circles...using one standard than the other...checking your data (plainly labeled) against a different standard so he can claim errors...

The guy is either a colossal dunce or is laughing up his sleeve...a sincere dummy or an insincere smart arse.

LOL..

My son, as a three year old, had a wind up talking toy....it had about five or six set responses that played when the toddler hit a button....

Obviously, this toy was a beta version of the CLF football post.

I separate motive from facts...it was factual reporting...and probably good journalism...But, I always suspect motives when there is money or politics involved... ESPN is notorious for talking up the teams that they are televising in the future while paying short shrift to others...Bowl tie in with ...

I went to some practices and the spring scrimmage here in Tallahassee... My take on FSU...2006 OVERALL...the defense will be solid..the offense will be better than last year but still not one that will get any raves...the O line is better but is still not an O line that can successfully run block on...

TCU IS THE MICHELLE WIE OF FOOTBALL.... Michelle is a good golfer...she beats most of the women and will beat most amateurs that she plays... BUT...Michelle can't play with the men at a major...why? Because she can't play at that level. TCU is the same way with football...can't win half of the games...

I believe Air Force did finish the year #10 overall 1998, so I could be jumping to conclusions, prematurely. But Nebraska #1, 2001? No chance in hell.

Well..KTFFAN is giving you info ..I verified....Final AP Ranking 1998 has Air Force at #13 and in 2001 Nebraska #4.
