With regard to the 'Noles this year, no one ever questioned their defense, it was their offense that was suspect. That really didn't change with the Penn State game. In that game you had two great defenses and two mediocre offenses. For an offense that just "mediocre"...PSU did put up some points.....

Folks use stats in discussions with you...I've noticed a pattern...if they do not support your argument...you label them as spurious...and weakly thought out...I'll take CFN seriously before I take your self reported stats using the methodology that best supports your hypothesis...Like, dropping 199...

We all can arrange stats to bolster our arguments....that's the nature of statistics....here is one site that ranks conferences 2000-2004 on their set of stats....

I wonder sometimes about the effect of a conference championship game...is it good or is it bad ? Individually, a team definitely has more risk liability having to play a season ending game against another pretty good team...in the ACC, it would mean a 13th game against a Miami, FSU, VT, Clemson, BC...

For the 90's...they rank the ACC above the B-10....
