CLF...you seem like a nice, sincere, but not very smart guy. KTFFAN has already supplied you with the #s of teams that TCU has played who have "finished" the season ranked in the AP. Whichever way it gets reported (ranked at time of play or at end of season)...you decide that the figures are slanted...

Don't know much about Cutler, but he did a lot without as much of a supporting cast as some big name QB's have had. Some see him as a Brett Farve type with a stronger arm. Plummer has been around ...this will be his 9th year, so he is getting a little long in the tooth...he will be able to bring a n...

Devin didn't look that good to me last year. Willie Reid was a better kick returner last year than Devin Hester...Reid took a kick back 83 yards against VT in the CCG and an 87 yarder back against PSU in the Orange Bowl. Willie, last year, set an all time bowl record for punt return yards with 180. ...

10.38 is an impressive 100 meter time...Walter Dix at FSU was the NCAA outdoor 100m champion at 10.06. Too bad he can't catch a ball.

Kenny NeaL, FSU WR...ran a 10.30 100m....(Georgia 5A Champ) But I haven't yet seen the speed translate into football greatness...hope this year will be his year.

There is no denying that the Big East...outside of it's top two teams of WVU and Louisville is currently weak...I do think that if WVU hadn't gotten an early jump on Georgia...that's what the talk would be about this season... Pennsylvania and Maryland (along with Fla for USF) are good recruiting ba...

Since Florida blew out Syracuse, it was not a great match up.

Well Spence,....since VT wiped out WVU at West Virginia...I guess you have to say that VT was better than WVU...and if I were CLF, I would be saying that VT had the right to play Georgia...After all, VT ended up beating the two top Big East teams, WVU and Louisville by double digits.

KSU really should have gone ahead of Florida in 98....KSU was more deserving on merit.... Don't know why Florida was invited....but it might make sense that a lot of Gators would motor six hours down to Miami...however, Florida fans are much more likely to buzz in and out of the city and not make a ...

Anyone remember 1998? That year, K-State was supposed to be in the national championship, but lost to Texas A&M. Where did they play? The Alamo Bowl. I find it ironic, that a team like Oklahoma can lose, badly, to K-State yet play in the national championship, yet a team like K-State can lose, ...

There are ways to handle the disparity between BCS and non BCS teams...if you really must attempt to "even the playing field".. There are many instances where one group has an advantage over another.... A woman golfer, for example, may be top ranked in her group, but she will not be able to compete ...

You can equation out many things...if you put an emphasis on offense...a conference that has weaker defenses and more offense may prosper over a conference with tough defenses and fewer offensive points. In 2005, the NCAA ranked 7 ACC teams in the Top 25 in Total Defense vs 2 in the Top 25 for the B...

i'd say that when the teams of a conference win fewer than 25% of their games with BCS teams...that conference is not competitive with a BCS conference... The CUSA, WAC, MAC play some decent games but overall only win one of every five, or less, games with BCS conference teams....NOT COMPETITIVE. Th...
