Re: If....!!!!!
I don't have a problem with Virginia Tech either. I just don't believe a team should get a rematch. In or out of conference. Especially in conference. I believe they played and lost, next man up. And in this scenario, I believe next man up has already had the same chance that Alabama did, by also l...

Re: If....!!!!!
Well what they did was have LSU 3 spots behind Georgia the week of the conference title game (with two teams ahead of Georgia losing). LSU beats Tennessee by 7 points. Then the voters say, "uh-oh...Georgia got beat badly by Tennessee, we can't have them get in over LSU and they didn't win thei...

Re: If....!!!!!
Exactly. I'm never going to forgive the system for this abysmal decision. I also decided a few weeks ago that I would not watch one second of the game if it turns out the way it will and I hope others follow suit (not that it would matter since it would most likely be the highest-rated national tit...

Re: If....!!!!!
Nor has Georgia played Alabama; which was the case in 2007 --- as Billybud pointed out above, Georgia Lost to the conference runner up, Tennessee, badly. And, yes, LSU had been ranked higher than Georgia throughout the season. So; yes they were. And, Georgia wasn't the best in conference, had two lo...

Re: Coach Graveyard Thread
Where the report was still in rumor phase; it has now become official. <> SPOKANE, Wash. -- Mike Leach is bringing his high-powered passing offense -- and swashbuckling style -- to long-dormant Washington State. The school said Wednesday that the pirate-loving former Texas Tech coach agreed in princ...

Re: Houston...they have no problem!
But, don't they say the same thing about Kellen Moore. He'll be gone next year, too?
How about letting the two great route slingers shoot it out in a Bowl game?
Who knows how many yards & points Houston vs Boise State would produce.
I say; 1250 yards & 109 points.

Re: If....!!!!!
I might take USC against anyone in the nation right now. If you ask me, maybe outside of LSU, I think they are playing the best football. Well, they did only play UCLA, so it is hard to tell just how good they are. Though, I would say Kiffin is sitting in the right place for the next season. Luck w...

Re: If....!!!!!
LSU beat a decent Tennessee team in the conference championship by 7 points. At the time, LSU was #7 in the BCS, #5 in Harris, #7 in the coaches. Georgia was #4 in the BCS, #4 in the Harris, #4 in the coaches. Missouri and West Virginia were #1 and #2 respectively and both lost. What happened to Ge...

Re: If....!!!!!
Against VT...I'd take Bama and give 14 points. Alabama is almost as one dimensional as Georgia Tech. The difference is they don't run as complex an offense. That is exactly why Les Miles wants to see Alabama again. It's the easiest win of the top 10 teams and your right I'd take Va Tech by 14 and c...

Re: If....!!!!!
I know 96 was pre BCS...but there is nothinig in the BCS point system that negates a rematch.... Georgia was out because they had a worse record than the teams ahead of them... No they did not. LSU had 2 losses, so did Georgia. Record had nothing to do with it. If they had a better record, why was ...

Re: If....!!!!!
Your still going on Fairness and SOS. THATS NOT THE ISSUE. Jeez. No, I'm not referring to fairness, you are. I'm basing my decision on criteria. You are the one painting a picture for how Georgia got robbed, and it would not be fair (to Georgia) letting Alabama play for the National title, because ...
