Well there is a Razorback fan in Arkansas that has taken a Volkswagen car and turned it into a Razorback. It has a tail coming off the back the, the hump of the razorback on top, a big nose on the front, ears on the sides, etc. It looks like a huge razorback. It is done quite well actually. On game ...

The story is that he was doing more kicking then punching. The team doctors are saying that McFadden will not even practice for several weeks. Even if the toe is healed in time for the USC game I am not sure that he would get to play that much or at all. He would miss all the game planning....they h...

It seems that McFadden got into a fight when he was leaving a bar. How stupid can you be. Top 1 or 2 RB in SEC, big game at beginning of the season, etc. and you get into a fight at a bar. Houston Nutt will not like that he was even in a bar. Nutt is the type of coach to make McFadden sit a few game...

Well, some bad news for Arkansas. The SEC's best running back, Darren McFadden had to have toe surgery yesterday and will be out several weeks. The reports are saying he will probably not be ready for the opener against USC. Here is the statement from the University of Arkansas sports page (http://w...

Here is more information about what I just posted. Very interesting stuff. This very scenario is why they changed how the National Championship would be determined in 1965. In 1964, seven entities named college football champions, due to the fact that there is no NCAA playoff for Division 1-A footba...

Interesting Story...1964 National Champs
The 1964 national championship was historic not so much for who won but for when the title was awarded. In 1964, seven different entities named a mythical national champion. The two most notable polls to fans at the time - The Associated Press and the United Press International - did not wait until ...

Yes. If you are in Central or Southern Arkansas the accents are quite strong. I am from the nortwest corner. Most people there have a very mild accent. I have lived in California for two years now and when I tell people I am from Arkansas they say that I do not have a Southern accent. Who knows....I...

I have made two trips to Atlanta with the Hogs since they joined the SEC. The first time in 1995 where they faced the Florida Gators and lost their star running back on the first series and ultimately the game 34-3. They shared the Western Division title in 1998 but the tie breaker went to Mississip...

Rolltide thanks for the welcome. I think the Alabama game will be a hard faught game. That game is always intense. I rember going to my first Ark vs Bama game in Fayetteville...about 12 years ago. It was my first experience of meeting Bama fans. I distinctly remember many of them wearing tide boxes ...

No offense taken irish88. By no means do I think that the Hogs are national championship material....or do I think they can even win the SEC title this year. However, at home they always play above their ability. I have watched in person on many occassions when the hogs were underdogs by more than 2...

2006 Preseason Coaches All-SEC Teams Announced
Auburn has the most players selected onto the 2006 Preseason SEC coaches poll with 14. Arkansas comes in tied for number 2 with 12 players (they are tied with Georgia and LSU). Here is a link that talks about it (http://www.secsports.com/index.php?s=&url_channel_id=2&url_article_id=7512&...

My predictions
Best Player: Darren McFadden (Ark Running Back) Bust Player: Chris Leak (Fl QB)...not bad...just will not live up to the Florida fans expectations. Best Team: Auburn Bust Team: Tennessee Sleeper Team: Arkansas URP: Not Sure...will have to think about it MIG: Auburn vs. Georgia (Nov. 11th) Winner: Au...

Thanks for the welcomes
I am glad to finally find a college football board where fans from many different schools can talk to one another like adults should. Thanks for the welcome everyone. Someone asked if I was a Razorback fan...the answer is yes. I attended the University of Arkansas for my bachelor's degree and my mas...

I pick Arkansas to win!
For those of you who do not follow Arkansas football closely I can certainly see why you would pick USC. Last year was the worst game I have ever seen Arkansas play. The youngest team in American last year (they started 18 freshman during the season) had to go on the road to USC for the their first ...
