Re: Texas vs. Texas A&M? Not for some time.

I definitely want the game to come back...if it happens to be after Johnny leaves A&M, even better!

Re: Texas...now with Playmakers

Wouldn't it be a letdown for all the viewers if this turned into a grind it out low-scoring affair...not going to happen, but it'd be ironic.

Meanwhile, Hyatt Hotels in Austin are providing a discount to WVU fans...apparently they don't have to pay for extra amenities...like toothpaste and soap.

Is Alston supposed to be like that crazy Schmidt guy you had a few years ago?

Re: Gets worse for John L Smith...

I read an article by Kirk Bohls (The Austin version of Wally Hall), that Wally Hall told him that Petrino was so offensive minded that he had 17 wide receivers on scholarship last year and defense was an afterthought. If that is true, Petrino still bears some of this blame.

Re: Texas...now with Playmakers

With Texas' Defensive Backs, it's going for the BIG HIT. So many times, they come flying in there, and hit the receiver to much in the middle of their body, so they just fly backwards a few feet, but land on their feet, regain their balance and take off. I've seen it for the last ten years. Sometime...

Re: Gets worse for John L Smith...

After the Monroe game, I put a Longhorn sign on the wall next to a Hog fan in my office...jokingly said I'd take it down when Arkansas has a winning record. Wow. It might be up there for a while. Yes, I am thoroughly enjoying living in Arkansas this year...unfortunately, all my Hog buddies did...

Re: Texas...now with Playmakers

There is a ridiculous amount of speed on Texas' offense. If Texas' defense doesn't learn how to tackle this week, look for Geno Smith's Heisman campaign to get a little stronger. My prediction...Johnathon Gray has over 200 yards. Ash has a big day. Geno is sacked at least 4 times. Whoever has the ba...

Re: Texas...now with Playmakers

Yes, the D was pretty stout, but the offense just never clicked. They have two burners, DJ Monroe and Marquise Goodwin, and yes, they've grown up. DJ used to be speed only, but he's keeping his legs going and is breaking tackles. Goodwin has a lot on his plate due to his Olympic commitments, but is ...

Texas...now with Playmakers

For the first time since the 1st half of the NC game against Bama, I am genuinely excited that Texas could be a great team.

Re: Week 3 Top 25 Upset Alerts

I am very concerned about Texas @ Ole Miss. That place is going to be very hostile territory, Texas is very young and prone to mental errors. As much as I hate hearing about the SEC, they know how to play football, and Ole Miss is prone to be awful 90% of the season, and ridiculously good once a year.

Hitler reacts to the Ark vs ULM game. I am sure you guys have seen this movie scene before. It has been used for 100's of things. Since they are speaking German you can add subtitles in and it is quite funny. http://meemsy.com/v/3524 My favorite part is "there is a promising 2* recruit in New ...

I still think Art Briles would be the best coach for Arkansas to go after.

Re: Hogs drop game to nobody

1981 #1 Texas comes to Fayetteville and faces an unranked Arkansas team lead by Lou Holtz. The Razorbacks had lost to an unranked team the week before. The final score is Arkansas 44 and Texas 11. Would love to see something like that again. However, John L is no Lou Holtz. http://www.youtube.com/w...

I thoroughly enjoyed watching that. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Choklahoma loss to WVU. Now that I think about it...I love watching OU lose.
