Big Games... Bet The House

Postby collegefbfan-8898 » Mon Sep 01, 2014 8:44 pm

Week 2 is upon us. If you had to bet the house, the inheritance, and all that stuff, which game do you feel most confident about picking who wins?

Southern Cal at Stanford
Michigan State at Oregon
Michigan at Notre Dame

If I had to....I might take Stanford. I feel confident about Oregon, but I could be way off-kilter there. I think the Ducks will win in a blowout. After week 1 though, I feel I don't have nearly as good of a grip on the season as I did before it began

There is a great podcast I listen to on collegefootballextreme.com. Those guys are funny and pretty entertaining. They were talking about the Texas A&M at South Carolina game before it was played. They said that the Aggies would get torn to pieces. They gave them no chance at all. I feel that no one has a feel for the sport as a whole in week 1. I know A&M won but man the Gamecocks secondary looked lost the entire game.

I watched the Oregon-Auburn national title game this morning. I know that was a few years ago and the players have changed and all that but Oregon had 11 points for most of the game. I know there was a 36 day layoff, but if Michigan State can maintain good defense, they have a chance. I could be way off there being week 2 and all.

I think I would feel the most confident about picking Oregon....but even that is a stretch.

Those are some good match ups.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
