This has turned into quite a game.
After No Illinois' first touchdown, the way they scored so easily, you would think, this is going to be a rout.
But Eastern Michigan came back, and at one point, took the lead by 14 ... with 9 mins left in the 4th, Northern Illinois scored a TD bring the game within 7 ... with just 3 mins left, they then held Eastern Michigan to a punt, which the Huskies have blocked, inside the 15 yard line ... two plays later, we have a tied game.
Eastern Mich has the ball with 1 minute left, and is attempting to get into field goal range.
Eastern Michigan is currently 2-5 ~ Northern Illinois is 5-2
But that is deceptive, because 4 of those losses by Eastern Michigan were really tight games, and last weekend they took Western Michigan the distance, losing in OT.
The MAC is not disappointing Thursday Night.

Eastern Michigan loses their 6th game in a row falling to 2-6 on the season
Northern Illinois has now improved their record to 6-2, making them bowl eligible. With Toledo blowing out Ball State earlier tonight, The Huskies & the Rockets are tied in the MAC both with Conference records being 4-0, making their game next weekend pretty much for the MAC West division representative.
Toledo's overall record stands @ 7-1, with their only loss being at the hands of Miami (FL).
