I haven’t checked, but I believe WVU maybe had 5 - 7……. But have a bunch of transfers from all over the country.

It is a shame. Just one of the symptoms of the death of college football. The NFL can’t sustain without the colleges, unless they go to a system like minor league baseball and you have to wonder if kids would even sign up for minor league money. At least with the college model these kids had an education to fall back on. Minor league football players that don’t make it will be thrown to the wolves.

The organizational structure of the NCAA is not working in this current environment where legal issues abound and where all members have a vote. Antitrust, legal and operational differences among the members have crippled efforts to reach consensus on authority and operational issues.

I’m reading where the Conferences are going to take a more active role in governing while the NCAA will charged with overseeing academics and eligibility.
