A BCS oddity

Postby Jason G » Sat Jan 01, 2011 5:09 pm

This may be my favorite year ever for BCS matchups. In all of this year's BCS bowls none of the teams have ever beaten their opponent in school history.

Auburn and Oregon have never played each other.
Virginia Tech and Stanford have never played each other.
Ohio State and Arkansas have never played each other.
Connecticut and Oklahoma have never played each other.
Wisconsin and TCU have played one time as they played to a 14-14 tie in 1970.

So, if nothing else, at least this year isn't the same old same old...

Even odder is Wisky and TCU tieing to make this scenario work.
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.
