Recruiting...

Postby Dossenator » Mon Aug 22, 2011 10:54 pm

Well, the #1 overall recruit in America will be in Fayetteville to watch the Hogs play Missouri State. His high school plays in Rogers (just down the road) the night before the Arkansas vs Missouri State game. He is a wide receiver out of Springfield, MO (only a couple hours from Fayetteville). His name is Dorial Green-Beckham (he is 6' 6" and weighs 220). He has made several visits to Arkansas to watch practices, and to take part in the summer football camp. This visit is an unofficial, and he plans to take an official visit when Arkansas plays a big opponent. He of course has scholarship offers from: Texas, Alabama, Florida, ND, Auburn, USC, Ohio State, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma...well basically everyone. I think the Hogs have a great shot at him. Why would a top WR not want to play in Bobby Petrino's offense? I think he will be a Hog. I know I have said it before but I am sure glad Petrino is the coach at Arkansas.

Well I sure wouldn't go to Texas, Bama, Florida, and especially not LSU!

With Arkansas you get big time football in a big time program with an exciting offensive scheme usually reserved for smaller schools. (If I am forgetting somebody, note, I don't really care.)
Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
