LSU players in BIG trouble...

Postby Dossenator » Fri Aug 26, 2011 12:11 pm

QB Jordan Jefferson and defensive player Joshua Johns were in a bar fight. The Baton Rouge police have issued arrest warrants for both players. They are facing felony counts of second-degree battery.

Here is the story: http://www.wdsu.com/r/28986580/detail.html

Doesn't LSU open the season against Oregon? If so, they need a new QB fast. Actually they may make LSU better. Jefferson is not a world beater at the QB position.

49 pair of tennis shoes? What size are they? I can use a new pair.
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

Yeah...Jefferson was not a wold beater...and Lee is a Junior back up. How bad must he be to be playing behind Jefferson?

He has started a few games his freshman year and played often last year as a change of pace QB. He is ok but nothing special. LSU will do what it often does...they will rely on a strong run game and a dominating defense. If either of those falter they will lose some games.

It will be interesting to wact LSU against twi high powered, but very different, offenses in Seprember. Oregon and then WVU. Holgerson's passing attack, wherever he's been, puts up a lot of points. If LSU can't score 20, they had better play lights out defense against the Mountaineers.

This will affect my rankings after week 1.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

If they can't play defense...they may not stand a chance against Oregon. They have sped up their game..if that is possible....Those snaps are going to come with six to seven seconds after the ball is spotted.

No problem with Oregon's game speed...the signals for a called injury have already been set...LSU guys will lie on their back with a cramp when necessary.

Les Miles is not smart enough to think of that strategy, and if he did happen to have that thought he would not know how to implement it.
