And Down Falls Louisville

Postby Cane from the Bend » Fri Sep 09, 2011 10:35 pm

Guess it was only a matter of time before they were exposed to everyone.

They looked bad, bad.

Not much positive to work from off of that game. The Cardinals didn't really come to life until 4 minutes had gone in the 4th quarter.

I have to give much credit to FIU. Their Defense played on point most of the game. Even when it looked as though Louisville had a chance to come back there at the end, the Golden Panthers stood their ground.

Good win for FIU; poor performance by Louisville.

Louisville was going to struggle this season mainly due to their offense. They didn't score a point in the second half against Murray State if I recall correctly. But FIU is a good team; let's remember they are defending Sun Belt champions. If they can upend UCF, Duke, and Troy (all home games), this team should be undefeated by the end of the year.

FIU is underrated, as just about every team in the Sun Belt tends to be. Louisville, meanwhile is just that bad... Logical conclusion.

Mizzou and ASU meanwhile is every bit the great game one could have expected. (though I'd prefer if it were Mizzou up with 12 mins to go...)

All tied up with Missouri getting a last chance to win it drive with 1:30 to go. Anybody stayin' up late? This game is a great reward for doing so...

Wasn't that late when you are in the proper zone. Missouri lost is early on....was a good game to watch. Arizona State, as predicted, will do okay this year...will be a spoiler. Erickson, for all his issues, can coach football.

Ditto.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Agreed. And I also agree with the consensus that your avatar rocks.
