Tulsa/Okie State

Postby Cane from the Bend » Sun Sep 18, 2011 5:13 am

So, no one else stayed up long enough to watch the Oklahoma State @ Tulsa game. :D

It was fun, for the post midnight kick off. The game ended @ 4:40 eastern time.

I took this from that game.

I do not believe Okie State had their hearts into the game . Maybe because of the time frame , I dunno . . . however, Tulsa made some foolish mistakes which gave the game to the Cowboys. 59 - 33 was the final, but in no way depicts a true rendition of the game that was played.

Oklahoma St had some difficulty with Tulsa's running attack. Yet, with the bevy of turnovers, the Cowboys seemed to walk away with it.

The Cowboy offense looked great again, with many touchdowns, and a ridiculous # of receivers catching passes.

It was a fun game to drift deep into the early morning with.

I ain't buying Okie Lt. But have a feeling they will beat Okie. But for the first time ever I don't think there is a true power team, a team a cut above! LSU looks really impressive and is great on D, good special teams, power on O...but the passing game has some notable lack. Boise St. is not quite as polished and likely a touch light in depth this year. And those 2 have impressed me the most. I think it is wide open this year.
