LSU National Rankings

Scoring Defense...#2 (Bama is #1 nationally)
Scoring Offense...#13

That says it all...a top defense with a top scoring offense. Sure, they don't pass and make a lot of yards and are way down the Total Offense Rankings.

BUT....I submit that Scoring Offense is where it is at...not yards, passing yards, etc. You score in the top 13 and your defense is #2 at not letting the opponent score....Voila! NC game.

Yeah...Having the Hatter as coach is probably good for a bunch of points.

I watched his genius at work when LSU converted a blind, over the shoulder pass, on a fake PAT, for a TD. Andd when the LSU RB caught a one bounce backward lateral. The genius of that forward bounce lateral that put the ball right into the hands of a streaking Running Back, was breathtaking.

His clock management skills also, are something to behold. As an Arkansas fan, I do not want Les to leave LSU and I am sure Satan, I mean Saban, agrees with me.
