Small Victories, Big Wins

Postby WoVeU » Mon Sep 03, 2012 8:56 am

WVU played their "rival" this weekend....small win. But having a nephew that always walks around with his fan-hood showing, and always dares to dream and dream big...lays a foundation for greater things.

Now he is a smart kid (when the fanhood is put away) with a big heart and I love the boy to death. Just a young14 years old, so full of energy and zeal with a gleam in his eye. (But 6' 2" and 245) So after listening to a 20 minute play-by-play prognostication of how the Coal Bowl would go, ending in a thrilling victory for the Herd (all whilst I throttled him in 1on1 hoops) I asked him how confident he was in his team. Well, the winds of change do blow hot and strange around these parts...and as it turns out the WoVeU grass will be well kept next year...free of charge! But nothing in life is truly free...I now have to buy a waterproof megaphone so I can announce my play-by-play recap of this years game while enjoying my cold beverage from the pool and the neph takes his yard laps in the 105 degree Texas sun! :D

As it should be.

I came to the same conclusion.
