LSU is bad...

Postby WoVeU » Sun Sep 30, 2012 4:07 pm

 They have been bad and haven't looked good. SoCar is over-rated by a good 6 spots...and they are better than LSU probably by 12 points. I'd beat on Tennessee if they were playing either one! Bama and Georgia are the class of the SEC. Florida I am not sure about, but I would be shocked if LSU beat them!

LSU thrived on winning ugly last year...they won 11 games...but won five of them by 6 or less points..

LSU will hang around but I doubt they make it much further. Their next five opponents are a combined 21-1, four are ranked, and three are top 10.

Indeed. I'm tired of them getting a pass. AND AND they STILL have a vote for #1.

This is absurd.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Absolutely absurd! It discredits ESPN, er um, I mean the Pollsters.

LSU is not bad....pretty good but not great. Arkansas is bad.

Also, Bama is very good but not great. Half way through 2nd quarter against Ark the score was 10-0 Bama. Then the doors were blown off and the whoopin commenced. Ole Miss played Bama close. Western Kentucky played them close for a long time before they started turning the ball over. Georgia will more than likely win the SEC East and can definitely beat Bama. Oregon can beat Bama. Probably a few others out there as well.

Really no great teams in college football this year, and a whole lot of bad.
"A team with something to play for is dangerous, but a team with someone to play for is unstoppable..." Arkansas OL Brey Cook quote following the death of teammate Garrett Uekman (Nov. 2011).

Sorry Doss...it never crossed my mind that we now have an aficionado of what bad truly is, I defer to your judgment on this.

At Florida this week. Favored by three, just depends if its the same Florida that showed up against Tennessee, or the one that played A&M. This could be a run-fest.

If LSU loses that will be the end of it. The media might drop them all the way down to #6 or 7! :P

The funny thing is......even though your joking and we can all chuckle over it......THAT'S EXACTLY what will happen.

I'm with Billybud in that I think they are a team built to win ugly. They have no consistent QB play, but when their defense is on, they're going to shut you down and they'll only need to score 15+ points to beat you in any given contest. Maybe the charade can't last forever, but there's no reason they can't go 10-2 like that. I think the jury is really still out on LSU though. We'll learn a lot a about both Florida and LSU on Saturday.

It was a run fest alright...by Florida. 43 carries, not counting the ones by Driskel.

LSU has three capable running backs, neither of which had ten carries. It's no wonder they lost. You'd swear that Les Miles has no idea that running the ball happens to wear down a defense in addition to yardage gained.

In the fourth quarter, Florida's O-line was breaking holes so large, my dad could've ran through them.

Including Connor Shaw, South Carolina ran the ball 51 times against Georgia. It might be a very quiet crowd of 92,000 at Tiger Stadium this Saturday.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. 61 yards passing out of Florida... by the 4th quarter there was no reason to throw even to keep the defense honest. Miles just looked at it and figured "No TDs on the board, gotta pass to get some." End result, incompletions and 1 for 13 3rd down conversion... ouch.
