I believe the SEC TV deals allow for bump ups in $$ with each team added to the conference. They are usually ahead on those type of matters.
I like A&M in the SEC. They are a natural fit.
Also, Baylor is "protesting" A&M by not buying many tickets for their game on the road against the Aggies this week:
