Manny Diaz already fired. They've found the guy that's going to turn that defense around.

Um... yeah, so good luck with that... :|

I feel like Mack just shot a 20 over and replaced his new Taylor Made driver with an actual wooden driver since he hit it straight in high school.

Living blocks from the stadium I pray that they get rid of him so I can get interested in the team and start going to games. Although the tickets may be real cheap right now.

List of people he didn't recruit.

RG3
John Manziel
&
Jameis Winston who really wanted to go to Texas but they wouldn't recruit him.

Mack Brown is done put a fork in him and get somebody who won't squander top 10 recruiting classes and will recruit top prospects who were begging to be recruited.

I still have a Ping persimmon driver. I never have gotten to that point, but I could see trying the situation that would make me pull it out. That is a great analogy.

RG3 --> Texas had Garret Gilbert, National Player of the Year. RG3 was committed to Houston...which tells you at least 50 teams passed on him at QB
John Manziel --> No one, I mean no one knew he would be that good.
Jameis Winston --> Texas has Tyrone Swoopes, the #1 ranked Dual-Threat QB from that class.

Colt McCoy - 3 star QB, won a lot of awards
Michael Huff - 2 star DB, Thorpe award winner
Shipley Brothers - 3 stars WRs

What's the last count on most players in the NFL? Texas has to be in the top 3.

I want to keep Mack Brown until he wants to retire. I believe him to be a genuinely good man. How many coaches in College Football can you actually say that about? Saban? Meyer? Stoops? Miles? Petrino?

Sure, I want to see Texas keep going to BCS bowls every year. But, he is a coach I can be proud to root for, and I believe he'll return to his 10 win seasons, and a few more National Championships.

Remember the most important number...MONEY, and Mack is kinda the Steve Jobs of College Coaching. No one, and I mean, no one, has produced the revenue Texas has in the last ten years.

I do think Mack Brown is that. I also think of those you mentioned and insinuated they are not good men, some are probably good men. I don't have a problem with Saban, Stoops or Miles.

While I think both Meyer and Petrino are good coaches the do have some character flaws in my opinion.

I also agree that I do not wish for Brown to be forced out.

I was just throwin those names out off the top of my head that win...except Petrino(obvious) and Miles (Okie Lite is about to drag him through the mud)

Often ultra successful people in whatever field are not very nice people. I guess having total commitment to anything can leave a void in a person.

They have the choice of the creme and they spoil it. Mack is full of bad decisions and he needs to go.

You're bold enough to say that, but here's the thing . . . 3 National Championship appearances, with what should have been four (see Oklahoma's loss to florida in the Orange Bowl) over the past 8 years.

Now, are you willing to compare that to what Beamer has done, and say the same thing needs to happen in Blacksburg?
