Seeing as, especially Oregon, and Oregon State are of no threat or consequence to anyone East of I-5, North of Corvallis and South of Eugene; and have been found unworthy to even make the CFP rivalry pickum list, I post this for this for Old Ducker and myself. That's it.

I'm going to watch it. I like Mariota. I think he is a very good QB.

We don't do Friday games

If I could have, Friday would have accounted for more than a third of the games on the slate with a lot of good matchups. But with Thanksgiving around the corner, the week feels short enough as it is.

Well I'm sure that will be remembered as an all-timer in that rivalry. It was a great game. Oregon seemed like they were sleepwalking again and not putting forth a great effort until their backs were truly against the wall. After the game was over, the reaction was good to see if you're an Oregon fan.

Now if you excuse me, I've got to log off. My retinas still need rest even hours after that game was completed*

Yeah the color thing is getting crazy.

These were the brightest colors I have seen on two teams. Nike outdid themselves on these sets of uniforms, like them or not.

The game was full of everything that make a game fun to watch. Good plays, great plays, bad plays, missed assignments, mishandled balls, not interrupted by officials dilly dallying around, Two very good quarterbacks, OSU defensive line frustrated Oregon. The lines I think were won by OSU. In the end, it was last possession and with a minute left and a long way to go, somehow you knew Oregon had the ability to score, and they did. Speed and accuracy that last drive was incredible. Can not fault OSU. I thought there for a moment, OSU would be able to hang on. Their offense scored when they needed to, but the speed of Oregon in the end did them in.

I don't know what has happened with Oregon. After losing to Stanford, they almost seem fragile....maybe even Ga could be them....but I doubt it.

They were the clear leader in the Pac, but now I wonder if they are not a 3rd position.

Colorful folks out there in Portlandia.... I guess the rainy clime inspires cheerful (read it garish) uniforms (read it costumes).

This was a very good game for us football fans to watch.....I enjoyed it very much.

Yup. To be perfectly honest, this was the primary reason I took a sabbatical from this board (besides not being able to cuss).

As for the game, all the respect to Oregon State, who came to play. Our inability to stop their run was statistically aberrant. In every other game this year, including Furd, our opponents had less YPC than their average and with the exception of Furd and Arizona, less yards rushing as well. That both Furd and Arizona had early large leads over us accounts for those. I was pretty disgusted with most of it. I said that the game wasn't even worthy of a hangover. Josh Huff ended up bailing us out. I honestly don't know what to make of the Ducks since the Stanford loss....

This game would have made the pickem if it would have been on Saturday. Eric only lists Saturday's games so people have the same cutoff time every week.

Yes, but a few years ago some people called for Eric to be consistent about the cut offs on the pickem so he has been picking only games starting after Noon Saturday.
