The odd thing to me, is that with the game in Prime Time, and only the Orange Bowl competing starting 1 hour later, this game has a bigger feel than the Citrus and Outback Bowls. Should not be that way. The Big Ten/SEC must do something to keep from having 3 of their matchups on TV at the same time on New Years day.

I've got the Orange Bowl playing on my lap top . . .
My TV is dedicated to the Cotton Bowl.
I am watching both, while I type this.

Mizzu is playing tough . . . but their receivers are only catching about every other pass.

Well that was a fast response by Okie St . . .
Missouri got the benefit of a penalty or two, in order to get down the field. A lot slower than their normal pace.
The Cowboys seem to be playing a bit faster.

The Pokes are on the move again . . .
Tried to force in one last play in the 1rst.
That almost cost `em. Incomplete.
Will be 2cnd & 10 in Mizzu territory.

Now that's the problem with chosing your receiver in the huddle . . . the outside receiver would have been open for a touchdown . . . instead, the inside receiver had the ball knocked away . . . 4th down, missed chip shot filed goal, banked off the right bar.

Huge run up the right side . . . coming back, 15 yard chop-block penalty . . . 35 yard gain negated, and going backwards. Missouri.

First & 25 . . . pass for a first down; the Tigers are on the Move.

No-one to spy the QB . . . had way too much room to run . . . slow guy picks up about 25.
Okie State is playing absent minded D. Selling out on the pass, getting burnt on the ground.

Nice quick slip to the right side by the Tigers . . . Touchdown.
Okie State is gonna need to clean up their play, if they are going to stay in this. 14-7 is not bad,but they need to score on this possession, or things are going to go sour.

3 seconds on the clock, Missouri lines up for a Field Goal . . . it's good.
Missouri up, 17-7 at the half.

about 2 minutes into the 4th, and we're all tied up @ 17 . . .
I know you've got your allegiance, Spence . . . but this is one game you'd like. For two offensive speedster teams; this has been almost all defense.
