BC -v- USC

Postby WoVeU » Sun Sep 14, 2014 9:26 am

I didn't see this coming at all, I'm sure many didn't. But to listen to the announcers it seems we need to contact the NCAA and have a win reinstated for Stanford and give BC the loss! No good deed should go unpunished.

A buddy of mine saw this one coming. This game is ESPN primetime. Why? This was going to be an arse whiiping. He said BC would win. He laid 30 bucks on it. I never saw this one playing out this way myself.

Had he taken those odds to Vegas, he'd really have cashed in...

Yeah that was probably my biggest shocker of the week. Nuts. Crazy. Wild. Boston College runs for 400+ yards against USC? Yeah, right.

I realize those west coast teams going eastward struggle a little bit out of the gate, but USC didn't even show up for this game. Tyler Murphy can be a difference-maker for Boston College. Their next two games are against Maine and Colorado State, so they should be in line for a bowl berth with this defeat of USC, even if they disappoint the rest of the way against the mid-tier ACC teams.

Watch out though. The infamous let down game. It happened to VT.

BC has an excellent O line and running game...they were closest to FSU in score during the regular season last year...running that big back that led the nation last year in yards rushing.
