Wow.

The sleeper for the West has putting it on A&M.

A&M looks asleep on defense. Some look like they aren't even trying. I would have those guys running snakes through the bleachers until they puked.

I't's one thing to be down, but to look like they are standing around before the play is over, is unacceptable.

I felt like A&M may have been getting too much credit for their win against South Carolina, and it's showing. I think this is just showing how good Mississippi State is too. They were better than their record indicated and when Prescott was healthy, they had a really good offense. One of the coaches said after they played MSU last year that they were surprised they didn't win more games since they were so athletic. And they did this to A&M without Jameon Lewis on the field. I thought MSU would win 8 games and look good in the process, but this was better than just about anybody's projection.

South Carolina is bad and A&M extremely overrated. If not for a negated TD for holding and a trip call that negated a first and goal from the 1 (neither had anything to do with the play but should have been called) the Hogs would have been up 21-28 points on A&M in the 4th quarter.

Auburn is for real. Still not sure how good Miss St is. They beat a bad LSU team and a not very good A&M team.

Yeah I was very surprised to see Mississippi State shoot up all the way to #3. That's showing them a lot of love for beating a (now) unranked LSU team by a score and a Texas A&M team that hasn't beaten a ranked team yet. South Carolina and Arkansas are far from scrubs, but the game against Arkansas could have gone either way, as you alluded to. Everybody was also giving A&M credit for how "hot" they were coming into the Arkansas game, and this was after beating Lamar, Rice, and SMU.

The funny thing with ESPN is that, on their bottom line, they have Mississippi State and Ole Miss ranked at #3. It's one of those things where they pick whichever poll is most convenient at the time.
