Ark will be sporting 1964 jerseys and helmet logos to honor the 1964 National Championship team (50th Anniversary). Many players from the 64 team will be present and honored at the game: Jimmy Johnson, Jerry Jones, and others.

Now the question is: Can the Hogs score a point and hold Bama under 50. Last two years the answer has been no. Hogs lost last two years a combined 104-0.

Maybe a miracle can happen Saturday night.

I think it should be a good game. If AJ McCarron was actually onto something, this Crimson Tide team might not have what it takes mentally to play at an elite level, so they might get tagged a few more times. But, I'm going to bet on Nick Saban if I'm going to bet. Arkansas will keep this pretty close by maintaining control on the ground.

I have always liked the Bama-Arkansas games. The 1980 Sugar Bowl instituted my interest in the way back. Fans of both teams wandering the Quarter, both wearing red and eyeing each other.

This game has possibilities. I still don't know how good Bama is and Arkansas will be a good measure.

I don't have a beef with Bama, but I'm glad to see them not doing so well. I want L*** Ki***n to experience as much misery as possible before Saban fires him.

Is it just me or does the interaction of Saban and Kiffen on the sideline look extremely awkward (by the way I love it). At times it is hard to tell who the head coach is... I am being completely serious. One of these games I could see Saban smacking Kiffen up side the head.

I would pay the money for 50 yard line first row tickets, to be at that game.

Well, surprise, surprise. Looks like Arkansas got slighted by the refs (although it might have been minor in the grand scheme of things, it is another item to add to the list). This is after Iowa State's athletic director reprimanded the Big 12 officiating and the conference big wigs for consistently railroading them.

Did you ever work somewhere 12 people were paid to watch you work and immediately tell you what you did wrong? They could watch over and over what you did while you got to make an instant decision. And 100,000 screaming observers were giving you advice. And 15 million views across the country could instantly post their feelings about your performance.

Yeah I think most referees do a good job considering what they're up against, but some of these schools like Iowa State and Arkansas consistently get the shaft to the point where it's a statistical improbability that they got the wrong end of the stick by chance. It's just odd is all.

Describes my first job out of college perfectly.

That is why I have always been against replay. Sometimes refs get it wrong. Most of the time they get it right. I am for training them, paying them a full time salary, and living with the calls. Replay has added nothing to any sport that has used it. It hasn't stopped missed calls and in some cases it has made mistakes when the field judge got it right

And you know that is how I feel. Officials are part of the game, the operative word. Improve their skills and live with it. One area that would help is quit changing the rules ad infinitum every year.

This same referee has made huge blunders against Ark on more than one occasion. The SEC office always apologizes and says he made the wrong call.

I had three beefs with the officiating but that did not keep Ark from winning: first a bogus personal foul was called on OL Dan Skipper, Bielema was running around screaming for a time out (ran onto the field calling time out) and this bozo ref just ignored him (Bama scored a TD on that very play...guarantee Saban would have got the timeout), and then I was screaming from the upper deck at the end of the game when the ref started the game clock after a Bama offensive penalty (Hogs should of got the ball back for at least 1 play after a punt return). This guy seems to have it out for Ark. In fact every Ark game he officiates leads to discussion about him before the game begins on Raz message boards.

But all officials should know that an offensive penalty stops the clock. I mean if it did not all you would have to do is score first and commit penalty after penalty until the time expired. He knew what he was doing. Same guy that sticks it to Ark several times every year. Not why Ark lost but Hogs would have had a punt return opportunity and at least 1 more play.

I agree with the rules changes. They have a good game, they need to leave it alone. They can keep players safe without wholesale changes in the rule. They could teach form tacking as the only way to make a tackle. They could not glorify the projectile tackling on TV sports shows.
