I think including the other board, this is 12 for me. I have mellowed a lot since those days. I don't have near the fight in me I once had.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Feast on plenty of turkey, pie, and college games. There's more than enough to get my fill this weekend.

Happy Thanksgiving, to you and yours, from the not-so-tropic Northern Indiana.

I s'pose that means I've been doing this for something like

15 years now
It's not hard to see my passion has faded that I once had ... with many of my posts being reduced from there abouts 10 pages long, to mere quips & punchlines.
Things seem to have become somewhat docile compared with the days of C'Ville (Boomer) - Larry - even Rich
O' how the mighty have fallen, eh Spence.

I remember Rich!!! he lived in Atlanta, wonder whatever happened to him.
We had another that was REALLY involved and then just left, MountainMan....miss some of those guys.
And there was one guy from Colorado that kept starting fights and getting kicked off. Was it ColoradoLovesFootball?

Mountainman was a good guy. He had an issue with someone on the board and left. I talked to him some after he left. He sent me a coonskin cap and a quart of West Virgina sunshine. He was pretty sharp. We had some good conversations.

I'm late as usual but Happy Holidays to all. I hope you all had time to spend with the family and enjoyed some time off.
I was just thinking that next year is the ten year anniversary of the message board. That's an eternity in message board years.
I've been extremely busy. I took all my energy I was spending playing games and hovering on forums and put it to good use the last couple years. I've been a field tech kind of guy since I was a kid. Last year I wrote a program to aide other field techs and my company loved it so much they've been transitioning me into a developer role. I feel sorry for my boss and field services because I was THE guy who knew everything and how to fix everything and I just got the big promotion that severs all those responsibilities. I would say that now the transition is done I'm going to have more time but I've already enrolled in college next semester to get a computer science degree. Hopefully, it turns out to be more useful than my finance degree.

Good Luck, to you Vileborg.
The research I had been involved with on a self renewable energy car engine generator, got bought out from the university by a private company, only to be patent, then buried, never to see the light of day.
Unfortunately, I am unable (do to a confidential signature) to give any specifics on said project, other than, it was working
(it turns out, free energy is not what they actually want; go figure).
So, no more research grants & facility hours ... I am currently doing my own thing, because I no longer have faith in the direction certain functions of the established social medium are governed.
(this is actually not necessarily new news, I made this change a few years ago), Anyhow >
Vileborg ...
Here's to your success
