You are looking LIVE at Missoula, Montana...

Postby armchairqb » Sun Aug 09, 2015 9:38 pm

Before Thursday September 3, there will be one more nationally televised college football game on Saturday August 29 at 3:30pm ET (time subject to change).

http://missoulian.com/sports/college/montana/football/musburger-to-call-montana-football-opener-vs-north-dakota-state/article_1587cc52-a67a-5d69-bf52-bebdec0ada7d.html

Not exactly my favorite announcing tandem, but the stadium atmosphere will be lively for this game. 18,000 season ticket holders for Montana football. Stadium capacity is 25,617, the game could be a sellout.

No question the game already is sold out. NDSU fans travel very well for all road games and this one is closer than most conf games. NDSU, after 4 straight national titles, are everyone's #1 preseason pick. Montana falls just outside the top 10 and have no experience at the QB position. The guy is suppose to be a legit passer but until he does it at this level no one really knows. I will certainly be watching this one very closely.

I'm excited too. I've never seen Musberger do a Montana game. Should be fun.

I'm sure the camera man will find a good lookin' woman in the stands to mess with him. 8)
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Not a ticket available for this one. Some seats at StubHub going for $300.

Very entertaining 1st half. Rushed home from work just in time to catch the opening kickoff. I didn't expect the score so high at half, NDSU tends to be very methodical and just grind the clock. Nice to have college football back and no disappointment in the 1st half of this one.

Fun game....back and forth. Congrats to the Grizzlies.

Whew...it can't be good inhaling all of that smoke.....kind of like running laps in an Irish bar.

That was an exciting game. Wow cant ask for much more to get the season started. Was surprised to see NDSU throwing late and that gave Montana those precious few seconds to pull off the win. Certainly wont be writing NDSU off after just the 1 game but they have some work to do on defense if they hope to win yet another title.

Was a fun game. We finally got some rain today in Western Oregon. First day without smoke for a couple of weeks. Not good to breathe for sure. Lot of surprises this year, I think.

Stitt is going to be a star at the next level some time. I don't think it will take long until some struggling program snaps him up.

NDSU wasn't unbeaten last year season either. Northern Iowa beat both Illinois State and NDSU last season, the only loss for either team heading into the championship game. They did run the table in 2013 tho. I see them losing at least 1 conference game again this season too, but again this season ISU and NDSU wont meet in the regular season. The conference is on a 2 year rotating system.
