SIR... YOUR DRINK IS ON THE HOUSE!

Just thinking about some "not so regular" questions as the season is about to begin. You know, not the normal "which team will win it all" or "who will win the Heisman".
So, name an "OFF THE RADAR KIND OF PLAYER" that won't have to buy a drink in their college town again. I am pretty sure Vince Young can go to any bar in Austin and not have to pay. Same goes for Craig Krenzel and guys like that. I am thinking along the lines of Shayne Graham. Kicker for Va Tech. Saved the 1999 undefeated season for the Hokies in West Virginia with a last second field goal from 30 or 40 yards out.
Who ya got?

I know Terry Baker 1962 Oregon State, retired from a successful Law Practice is still a great guy and will do almost any charitable event you want.
Mike Riley now at Nebraska, is always welcome.
Chip Kelly probably a drink...but maybe not a buffet!

Ron Simmons in Tallahassee....the man who really started the climb of modern FSU football.
He jump started the Bobby Bowden era...a NG who could not be blocked. His song "big Bad Ron" played on local stations...he is a legend us old timers tell our sons about and they, their sons.

I watched him in wrestling. Who would you compare him to in the BCS era? That's when I started watching college football.

Im not sure how "off the radar" he is anymore, but Cardale Jones will never buy a drink in Columbus again.

I really don't know....FSU has had many NFL linemen since...but none were as dominant in college ball as Ron.
Ron Simmons could collapse a whole offensive line when triple teamed....set the FSU record for tackles for a loss, forced fumbles, fumbles recovered, and sacks.
A great college athlete, at a listed 6'2", (many think that he was closer to 6'0) he was short for pro ball.
