Michigan State Might be Horrible

This is one of the worst games I've seen played by a team on this big of a stage. Their blocking scheme is horrendous. They have not switched up their ineffective defense. They can't tackle Coker in the backfield (not necessarily a Johnny Manziel type). Coker just hit Ridley on a bomb where Coker just sidestepped a guy who had a clear shot on him. What is going on.

Actually Coker just stepped up in the pocket, but the safety got absolutely lost in coverage. Still horrible.

I knew if Connor Cook couldn't have time to throw MSU was going to have problems. I honestly thought Michigan States line would hold up. I missed bad on that. Refs in this game are horrible. It isn't game changing, but they are still bad.

Bama's d-line is better than MSU's o-line, but I don't think MSU is getting absolutely schooled. Their line is self-destructing because they don't know who to block or they aren't getting their feet set. Specifically the right side of the line. Cook got pressured by a guy when the RT and RG each went towards the middle. Bama brought 3 and MSU had 5 guys blocking 2 which forced Cook to make a bad throw. Horrendous. The RT got knocked on his backside by getting hit by a guy's shoulder while he was spinning. Like what is that. Even if you think the SEC has some kind of defensive line advantage, a grown 300 lb man got knocked on his backside by a guy dropping his shoulder into his shoulder. That's him not being balanced or not expecting to get hit.

My predictions this year have been poor; this game sure made it seem as though I had no clue ... It's a good thing Clemson & Houston brought in the wins ... Houston almost makes up for picking a team who lost 38-0.
Michigan State needs to find away to make adjustments. If what you are doing is not working, then change something. By mid 3rd quarter, it appeared that the Spartans had simply given up.
In the end, I have had Clemson winning it all. After tonight's game, I'm not as sure. I do think Clemson will have a better blitz package than Michigan State. So that could create some problems for Alabama. But the Tide are certainly Rolling.
