How do you know when it's cold..? After you clean the snow off the car, you then have to scraped the frost off the inside of the windows.

Down to 5 degrees last night...tonight will be better...7 degrees. A couple of degrees warmer down off the mountain in the valley where the reporting station is than up here.

It's getting close, not there yet, to that mother's-in-law kiss.

It's hit 15 once here this week, and my well froze over. :(

It will be around freezing for the NC game.

We were -4 this morning when I took a group of kids for their golf lessons. It was 12 on my way home in the afternoon and it is 3 now. We have had single digits every day (at least part of the day) for the last 12 days. It is supposed to warm up to 33 tomorrow and stay 30's and 40's for the next three days. Then they are predicting 50's on Wednesday and Thursday. That is life in Ohio in the winter. I have played golf on New years day and shoveled snow in April. The bad thing about 50's in January is that it won't last and the good thing about snow in April is that it won't last.

It got up to as high as 12 yesterday. A nice break from the negative 15 we idled at for a few days.

We are supposed to reach up to 22 at some point this week. But then they keep showing the projected weather map, and every time snow accumulation is expected, the cloud formation is channeling down the west shore of Lake Michigan ... which usually means we get the blunt of the lake effect drifts.

I saw 7 more inches on the way ... not too bad. But I'm running out of room to push the snow from my front walk & driveway.

We had about 5 inches of snow here in Virginia (close to the NC/Virginia border) about three weeks ago. Been very cold lately. Single digits to the low 20s. Pretty soon, forecasting a couple of days in the upper 50s.
