Let Me Get This Straight...

Postby collegefbfan-8898 » Sat Sep 28, 2019 9:32 pm

UNC, who loses at home to Appalachian State, comes close to beating Clemson.
Clemson, who needs to look really good because of the WEAK ACC, looks like.... yeah you get it.
Pitt beats UCF and then barely squeaks out a win against Delaware.
Gameday went to Lincoln... for what? Did they think that was gonna actually be a game?
Georgia Tech loses to Temple by a lot. Watch GT beat VT later this season.
Wake Forest... 5-0.

UCF, who thinks that they are national champs gets knocked out of consideration by Pitt....who has a nasty habit of upsetting front runners.

The 2016 national champions, Clemson, went 14-1 with one loss to...yep, Pitt.

And 2007 WVU had only one loss and was looking at the possibility of an NC game...and along came Pitt (5-7).

Miami, 2017, is undefeated [10-0], goes into Heinz Field and loses to Pitt ...

And with a 41 point lead in the 4th quarter, Ohio State still has in Justin Fields.

And the fact that when I place my sports “bets”, I am dealing with males, age 19-22, maybe 23 years old. What am I thinking?

Uh, you’re probably dealing with the ‘Vegas Boys’ who happen to know what every coach and player on the team had for breakfast, their personal life, and whether or not they cut their toenails a little to deep.......

NFL didn’t work out that great either.

NFL is a lot harder. College is easier, but you have to bet individual games, do your homework and find games early in the season that aren’t handicapped well. If you wait past week six the oddsmakers will have adjusted and it gets harder and harder to beat them. The best bet is to keep your money in your pocket.
