Another Great Win by UL

Postby Swamp Daddy » Sat Oct 26, 2019 11:04 pm

Game looked miserable until midway through the 3rd quarter when UL tied it up 14-14 on a 75 yard run. We piled on 2 more TDs to make it 2814 midway through the 4th. Virginia drove and scored to make it 28-21 late in the 4th. and though everyone knew they would try an on-sides kick, darn if they didn't recover it. and drove down for the kill. The refs did the usual tricks and in the last few seconds reviewed the same 3 plays two times each time adding a few seconds back on the clock. Still, the hail Mary was batted down and we won. Great win even though here at home. now at an unbelievable 5-3 and almost sure to make a bowl as we are heading into a weaker part of the schedule though 3 of the 4 are road games.

I did not see this game....but wasn't glad to see Virginia take a loss (my Fantasy pick).

Louisville scored 24 unanswered points against the Noles and coulda shoulda won that game as well....two 50+ yard TD passes did the Cards in.

Louisville has a pretty good defense.

UL’s defense is 2 points away from giving up the most points allowed in the conference.
