2019 Predictions Weeks Fifteen & Sixteen Winners

Postby Cane from the Bend » Sat Dec 14, 2019 8:36 pm

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why not ...

So we finished the season the way we started it; with a Tie. And a 3 way tie at that.

Mountainman, Spence & Highfly ... all of you accumulated 16 correct picks out of 20.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the Overall Totals; Mountainman takes the regular season, edging out Spence by 2,
and having a winning percentage of 73% which is just over a half point margin better
than Spence [0.67%].

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Week Fifteen Participant Scores:
(out of a possible 20)

Mountainman + 16 = 80%
Highfly + 16 = 80%
Spence + 16 = 80%
Cane + 14 = 70%

Totals After Week Fifteen:
(out of a possible 300)

Mountainman = 219 --- 73%
Spence = 217 --- 72.33%
Highfly = 212 --- 70.55%
Donovan = 68 --- 68% [of 100]
Dossenator = 118 --- 65.56% [of 180]
Cane = 188 --- 62.87% [of 299]
Derek = 24 --- 60% [of 40]

Winning this thing is akin to playing in a hard fought game that comes down to a Hail Mary heaved into the end zone and finding oneself surrounded by defenders who unintentionally tip the ball up in the air, and as the ball falls to the ground it lands right between your numbers while you’re laying flat on your back in the end zone...... that begs the question, ‘Were you better, or just luckier?’ :wink:

Good season, gentlemen it was fun....... Thanks for all you’ve done Cane!!! 8)

Let’s Gooooooooo Mountaineers!!!!!

Yep, thanks Cane for keeping this going. It proves to me every year that I don’t know close to what I think I know about the teams strengths.

My 6 weeks in Australia dead in the middle of the season ruined my picks. :cry:
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
