Tenn -v- Georgia

Okay, so Georgia went down, 21-17 to the Vols before the half, and couldn't punch it in at the 1 yard line ...

Georgia has since taken the lead, and stretched it, 30-21, with 35 seconds left in the 3rd quarter.

Tennessee has now gone 3 & out to start the 4th quarter.

This is where we will find out just who Tennessee is. Will they fold? Or will they make the necessary adjustments to stay in this game.

If Uga scores here, this game will be nearly insurmountable for Ole' Rocky Top.

There's our answer ...

Shut out in the second half. Their defense was on the field longer than their offense. Three turnovers killer.

Tennessee certainly looked the part in the first half, starting the game very well. But in the end, they simply couldn't make the adjustments to keep pace with Georgia. And UGa took full advantage of the mismatches.

With florida losing; Georgia is now controlling their fate.

They play Alabama next weekend, and that game could be part 1 of 2.

I think these teams are precisely what I assumed they were.

Georgia is elite; Tennessee is still in the building phase.

I think TN is still rebuilding, and they made me nervous tonight. But I think I had the feeling that you just knew that it wasn't going to last for TN.

I'm beyond shocked at how good Ga has looked the last two games, though Auburn was not as good as people thought.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I was surprised that the Gators lost to the Aggies....I had Georgia-Florida as the SEC East contenders...still do..but I now wonder if the Lizards can beat the Dawgs.
