At least we get a bit of a break from the nonsense spewing out of the politico world view ...
Tonight's games have some real potential appeal.
Miami @ NC State, 7:30
San Jose State @ San Diego State, 9:00
BYU @ Boise State, 9:45
All of which would have made the Predictions list if they'd had been scheduled for tomorrow.
Even though my bias sees the first game as more relevant; that BYU/Boise game has the makings of an instant classic.
Tonight should be fun.

"It is only impossible until it has been accomplished." ... then it becomes standardized ...
Success is measured by results; whereas Character is measured through the means by which one achieves those results . . .
It seems the Rapture did come for two worthy souls:
In Memory of Grandpa Howdy
In Memory of Donovan Davisson

Yep, looking forward to the games tonight......

T'was an ugly game ...
But the `Canes got the win.
N.C. State played well. They had a game plan, and they stuck with it.
The Wolfpack controlled much of the 2cnd half. Miami went on a slew of penalties. Yet, the Defense stood up at the end, when it mattered most. While N.C. State makes the one mistake that sealed the game, throwing an interception that would allow the Hurricanes to run the clock to 0:00.
That was the only turnover of the entire game between both teams.
With tonight's win, Miami now has matched their win total from last season --- Having 4 games to go, we are in prime position to look forward and say this was a successful year.
San Jose St & San Diego St are currently into the late 3rd quarter. San Jose just scored a Touchdown to take the lead 14-10.
BYU & Boise are about now @ halftime; where the Cougars have the ball, and are up over the Broncos 16-3.
BYU seems like a team with a mission this year. Let's see who makes the right adjustments to start the2cnd half.
These Friday Games are living up to the hype.

Goodness, don't blink ...
Nearly as soon as I posted my last comment, San Diego goes down and scores a Touchdown.
Up now, 17-14.
