Tommy Tubberville

Postby Derek » Tue Dec 07, 2021 3:44 am

I was on a plane from Vegas to Atlanta tonight and sat RIGHT NEXT to Tommy Tubberville. I didn't say anything to him until we were on the ground in Atlanta, but I talked to him for a few minutes, and he was the nicest guy.

He was on his way to Washington for a vote on something. He was in Vegas for the CFB Hall of Fame since they moved it from NYC.

Very nice guy.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

That is a fantastic story, Derek.

For some reason, the only people I ever sit next to on a plane, is the person who virtually sneers the whole flight; or a Chatter Cathy who really isn't saying anything I can follow.

With all this money being thrown around this day and time for coaches, you maybe should have asked him if he considering tossing his name out there…..
