Comcast held out on the ACC Channel...until Disney's contract came due...we all knew Comcast would cave because Disney bundled...you want ABC, the ESPN family, Disney, FX...you get the ACCN and SECN...like it or not.
………and the consumer will pay for it whether they like it or not. As long as ‘bundling’ continues to be legal the Mouse will continue to steal the cheese and avoid the trap.
You want College Football, the Mouse has got it, you want Bowl Games, the Mouse has got it, you want CFP, the Mouse has got it……. all that little rodent had to do is get out his checkbook and buy it, because IT’S FOR SALE!!!!! And “Who’s the seller?”, one might ask. Well, where should we start??? Let’s start with “Who’s got the product?”. Answer: College and University Presidents. And then ask “Who’s got the authority?”. Answer: Politicians.
Now, the Mouse shows how smart he is and asks himself……”What do they both have in common?” and “What do they both want?” Hmmmmm, this is where the Mouse shows his stuff…….. and concludes, “They both crave Power, Wealth, and the Love Of The People!!!”, but the Mouse also knows they will sacrifice the Love of the People for the power and wealth.
………. and that’s how the Mouse has managed to get the consumers to pay for a product, in this case ‘bundling’, they do not want.
