To fly a team on a chartered plane, haul equipment all the way to California....only to be notified 4 hours before kickoff that UCLA wasn't playing..is really tough....the practices involved, the giving up of Christmas with family, the cost to the school...give them the win for a forfeit...
They gave them a shrug, said "eat your costs"...and "forget that #3.5 million payoff".

Agreed. NC State got screwed all the way around. The least they could do is give them the winner’s cut.

I'm hoping NC State has had their attorneys look over everything. This is a complete waste of money and time.

I’d ask what was done with the Bowl’s Sponsor’s money, ticket sales and TV money…… and then find out who knew what and when…… including UCLA. And then decide.
