hmmm ... here's an interesting tidbit.

Below are the locations of the IRS branches in the Lone Star state, and the Universities in the town:

Austin --- University of Texas / TXST (in Round Rock {Austin Metropolitan})
Dallas --- SMU
Farmers Branch (a North Dallas community)
Fort Worth --- TCU
Houston-Downtown -----------------------------
Houston-Northwest -----------------------------
Houston-Southeast --- University of Houston
Houston-Southwest --- Rice [Rice & Houston are a 9 minute drive from each other]
Tyler --- The University of Texas at Tyler



I'm noticing there is no IRS hub in College Station.

But there sure seem to be a bunch of recruiting rivals in areas where there are.
