How About An Update From The Halls of Congress
”We’re already in a time where the on-field aspect of College Football is almost a distraction. It’s an era filled with handwringing about player empowerment, NCAA deregulation, the transfer portal and realignment all while the sport generally moves toward a professional model.” ~ Dennis Dodd

I've been wondering where Tommy Tubberville is in all of this. I've not heard much news about him sharing his opinion. No one in Washington right now, is more qualified to help deal with this than he is. Even if that opinion is stay out of it (which I'm fine with), he's not said much.
Did I mention I talked to him on an airplane.

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

And you can bet your bippie, sorry I’m showing my age with that one, there’re a bunch of interested parties talking to congressional and senatorial members, say like the TV guys and the National Labor Relations guys.
