From College Station to Fayetteville……. Hmmmmm, interesting, you don’t reckon Petrino is being paid by interested third parties???? Somebody needs to checkout the license plate on that ‘Hog’ and see if it reads 007.

I dont understand Arkansas's thinking here. They already fired him for indiscretions, not sure why they would bring him back.

The guy was an expert at putting in his resignation.

While watching the press conference announcing Petrino as the OC, I found a particular point of interest in his comments.

One Journalist asked him about Helmet Devices for signal calling. What he had to say might intrigue you.

Journalist: "Your signaling. I wonder what you thought of the signaling, Sign Stealing flap this year, and how does that apply to you maybe. Or, what's the future of Signaling as well. Do yo think Helmet Devices are ..."

Bobby Petrino: "Yeah I think that they should have done that a long time ago. And I don't know anything about Michigan and what they did, or any of that. I honestly didn't pay any attention to it. But I do know when you went and played Clemson, that they were gonna have your signals. That guys on the sideline standing there with a sheet of paper with your signals on it. And that was tough. And the ACC and the SEC have talked for years about puttin the piece in the ear. And one of the issues you always have in the NCAA is everybody has a vote. So there's a lot of schools that play football that can outvote the major conferences that don't have the money for that technology to be in their helmets. So that's why they gotta do somethin about it. But it's become more and more relevant throughout the years that I've been in, about people stealin signals, and callin defenses and offenses that way."

Found that to be worth paying attention to.

The whole press conference was compelling enough.

Before Petrino came out, Sam Pittman sat in there answer questions. Another topic was Roster tampering.

You can watch the presser here:

Petrino's comments on the Sign Stealing are at the 28:35 mark.

But…. If he is being paid by Arkansas and he keeps his nose clean for a year or so…..the Arkansas coach may have just hired his replacement.
