With #49ers and Chiefs having no Alabama players on active roster, a remarkable streak will continue. No player who finished college at Alabama has scored a point in a Super Bowl. Players from 143 other colleges from Coast Guard (1 point) to Miami (84) have scored in Super Bowl.

I'm sure many smile at this little factoid.

However, it made me wonder, how long statistics such as this will continue with the Transfer Portal vs

(>) How many players were on the Alabama Roster who left the program for the pros (>) to Those who have [or will score] said Touchdown in a Superbowl having become nfl players post College from Other Programs who at one time or another had been on the Alabama Sideline.

I use Alabama Sideline, because that would mean "Active Roster Participant", whether they saw field play or not.

I would discount anyone who had been recruited by Alabama, or Transferred into Alabama that never suited up, or Transferred Out, not having garnered game time Active status.

I would also disregard anyone who made the Sideline as a Redshirt who then Transfers Out before seeing playing time. [as such; not being Active]

In the exception that said player had been Redshirt with Playing Time in 4 or fewer games. [in which case they had taken snaps, with intent of future playing time]
