I think I would call him Richard for what he has done to college sports. I don't have a problem with the players making money off their fame in the sport. I don't think the schools or these collectives should be how they do it. I think they should market their name like Olympic athletes do. If I was in control of college sports I would blow it up. Go back to the basics. Play in exchange for a full scholarship, fees, and expences. I would also throw out the national tv deals and only let local networks pay the schools for the games. Let the players market their names locally and get back to what CFB is all about. Playing for school pride and for the education and networking that goes along with it.

Ole Jeffery appears to be taking a victory lap and doing a little chest thumping…….. you reckon the Title IX folks or maybe the Coaches Association folks have called and left him a voice mail??????? I would imagine there’s been more than a few eyes rolled and a jaw or two dropped over the amounts these Head Football Coaches are raking in nowadays.

……….. and who knows, we soon may have some big haired, painted face, big busted and long legged Babes sitting in Chris and Kirks chairs on Game Day. Da,da,da, Da,da,da!!!!!

Certainly appears as if the movie ‘Jerry McGuire’ was a prophesy….. “SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!”

On another note, I wonder what the College Presidents, Board of Governors and the NCAA are thinking????
