It looked good early; but then, Penn State's physicality just overwhelmed the ~Eers.

I almost bought into the hype ... or, anti-hype, you might say.

I heard how good WeVu could be this year, and heard a conversation abut Penn State that made me question their viability as a player. A conversation that had someone who works with high school teams, that talked about how an assistant of the PSU Offensive Coordinator had asked if there were any Wide Receivers they could pick up, because they didn't feel like they had anyone skilled enough to compete on the outside.

I guess they figured it out.

As far as I’m concerned the best thing that came outta that face plant performance by the Mountaineers happened in Neal Brown’s post game presser when after the typical rant against the players and game officials and the usual ‘I’m the coach and it’s my responsibility bull defecation, Brown mentioned that Wren Baker, WVU Director of Athletics, asked Brown after the game “What happened???”……… now I known Baker sits in the press box luxury suites with the big time donors and politicians and I’m sure he was asked not only the same question he asked Brown, but also ‘whatcha gonna do about it?’

We’ll see……..
