The University of Tennessee is adding a 10% Football Ticket Sales Increase, wherein the extra 10% gained will go directly to the Volunteers Athletics NIL fund.

Now, if I'm a visiting team fan, I say, "Nope!"
I'm not giving money to another schools NIL fund, to outperform my team's NIL revenue accumulations.
Honestly, if this were a simple optional upcharge, that you could choose yes or no, I would not have a problem with this.
However, because it's mandatory the all spectators will be levied this fee, I feel this is a mere passing of the buck down to the fans, in order to forego the Athletics Department's own obligation to fulfill their agreements with student athletes.
If I'm paying the NIL bill to these kids, then I want a say in how much each one of them is going to receive. Otherwise, sell the seat to some other moron who doesn't know the difference.
